WIESO MACH ICH DAS?
Ich habe eine leidenschaft für alte Computer, Bastelprojekte und der erhalt von alter hardware die sonst den segen der zeit bekommen würde. BunnyLab ist meine werkstatt und das archiv hinter all den sachen
die ich auf meinem youtube kanal namens
Curious Computer mache.
Wenn du dein server bei mir unterbringst, hast du nicht nur eine tolle location für dein schreiendes Beast gefunden, sondern unterstützt direkt meine arbeit, mein kanal und den erhalt von alter hardware.
So bist du dann ein part davon, dass ich weiterhin Computer aus relays, Röhren und anderen komischen dingen bauen kann. Danke dafür, das bedeutet mir sehr viel.
Also wenn du dein server aus dem haus bringen musst, kannst du ein teil von meiner BunnyLab reise werden und gleichzeitig dein server und seinen lärm wo anders unterbringen. Win-win.

Und vorallem: ich nehme Rack server, towers oder was auch immer du hast. Komische Hardware ist überraschend viel vertreten hier :D

Meine Preise sind grösstenteils basiert auf Stromverbrauch und nicht Rackhöhe. Das heisst, dass du nicht für 3U zahlen musst, wenn dein server zwar riesig ist, aber nur 50W strom braucht.
(Wieso auch immer...) Aber das heisst, alte, aber riesige sachen wird nicht zwangsläufig teuer. Nur für den strom sollte ich halt ein bisschen was haben, da ich den selber auch bezahlen muss. XD
Du bekommst für jeden server ein Gigabit anschluss, zwei Stromanschlüsse und einen gemanaged reverse proxy service..

WAS BEDEUTET "DURCHSCHNITTVERBRAUCH"?
Ich messe deinen Stromverbrauch. Das heisst aber nicht, dass du eine harte Grenze beim stromverbrauch hast. Wenn dein server mal beim hochfahren kurzzeitig 500W will
weil alle Lüfter auf vollgas fahren, ist das kein problem, solange du im durchschnitt nicht mehr oder weniger über die Plan grenze kommst.

Traditionelle colocations und Rechenzentren berechnen den Preis nach Rackhöhe. Hier bei BunnyLab wird das ein bisschen anders gemacht.
Ein riesengrosse 3U NAS server der nur 60W braucht kostet mich nicht 3 mal so viel wie der gleichen server der nur 1U ist. Also wieso soll ich dich dafür 3mal so viel berechnen.
Wärend ein 1U server mit 4CPUS und 4GPUS der 600W braucht, micht viel mehr kostet. Also berechne ich das auch so.
Die kleineren Pläne sind limitiert auf 3U, ab 200W kannst du bringen was du willst. Das ist haubtsächlich weil der 200W plan komplett kostendeckend ist.

GIGABIT ETHERNET
Every hosted machine includes one Gigabit Ethernet connection
to the BunnyLab network. Additional physical Ethernet
connections can be added if your hardware needs them.

TWO POWER CONNECTIONS INCLUDED
Dual-PSU server? No problem. Every plan includes two physical
power connections. More can be added where required. (People told me thats a scam, because "two power connections" is not a feature,
but a requirement for dual-PSU servers. I am aware of that, but eeh, whatever redundant power suplies usually should plug into a UPS which this doesnt include. But you at least dont get the annoying "PSU fail" error okay, its something...)

OPTIONAL UPS
The Swiss power grid is exceptionally stable and outages are
rare, so not every homelab machine needs battery-backed power.
If yours does, UPS capacity can be added to any plan.

REVERSE PROXY INCLUDED
Reverse proxy service is included with every plan. Separate
public IP addresses are unfortunately not part of the normal
service yet, mainly because of the limitations and pricing of
the current Internet connection. For customers with special
requirements and the necessary budget, a dedicated solution
may be arranged.

PHYSICAL ACCESS
Need to swap a disk, install RAM or argue personally with an
uncooperative RAID controller? Physical access can be arranged.
|
|
BEST-EFFORT REMOTE HANDS
I am roughly 20 minutes away. When I am available I can reboot
a machine, check cables, read displays, move hardware or help
with other simple physical jobs. (also when the lab is open on the main page, that means I am around the lab and if you call me, chances are good that I can help immidiately.)

LOCKED PREMISES
The server room itself can be locked and sits behind multiple
layers of locked doors and badge-controlled access. (you dont get a lock for each and every customer, the server room is locked and only I have the key. So yes, I have access, but I can also be trusted,
and if your hardware gets stolen, you know who it was LOL.)

Your physical server stays in Switzerland, in the Bernese
Oberland.
This means you are not subject to the laws of any other country, and your data is not automatically shared with foreign governments. Switzerland has strong privacy laws and a long tradition of neutrality.
Infact I kinda dont care what you do there, I am just housing your server, you are responsible for your own data and what you do with it. I am not a lawyer, but I think that is how it works.
Please dont do dumb stuff though, Id rather not have a raid infront of my door please :)

BunnyLab hosting is operated on a best-effort basis.
That means I make a reasonable effort to keep the network and
infrastructure running, respond when something goes wrong and
help with customer hardware where I reasonably can.
The swiss power grid is very stable and outages are very rare. The internet on the other hand can be a bit more unreliable but its not bad. I dont guarantee 24/7 uptime, and unfortunately I dont have
multiwan redundant internet connections yet, but you should be fine. I mean there is a reason why this here is so cheap, if you really need 100% uptime, maybe go pay 1000bucks/ month to whatever offers you this LOL
but none the less, I will do my best to keep your server online and happy. But fixing someone elses fuckup in my ISPs network is unfortunatly out of my control.
But if you need anything special, I am happy to discuss it and see if we can make it work. I am always open to try new things and improove stuff. Its usually a question of financing though, so dont expect me
to do miracles for free, but if you are willing to pay for it, I am willing to try and make it happen.

COMING SOON
BunnyLab is also building a large compute cluster intended for
rented batch-processing and compute jobs.
The cluster is not available to customers yet. Hardware details,
supported workloads and pricing will appear once the service is
actually operational.
